Waterfowl Hunting in Texas
Big Trophy Adventures, LLC offers outstanding waterfowl hunts in the Panhandle of Texas. We book our limited Duck Hunts on a great Mallard Roost near Matador, Texas. In the years past, we have typically seen every morning between 1000 to 5000 ducks on these private canyon lakes. Most of our clients get their limit in the first couple of hours.
Two seasons ago, I personally arrived to my blind at straight up noon, and had my limit of five ducks in 30 minutes. The action can get so fast, that at times it’s hard to keep the shotgun loaded.
We also offer a fully guided combo hunt for duck and quail in January, and it doesn’t get much better then this hunt. Imagine harvesting six mature ducks in the morning and fifteen quail in the afternoon.
